The Lekki Qur’an Memorization College was stablished by the Lekki Muslim Ummah in 2016, as part of her continuous efforts to expand the frontiers of Islamic knowledge and reform the society. The college is a boarding school for Muslim children between ages of 9 and 15.
As the name suggests, the Lekki Qur’an Memorization College is a school established for the memorization of the whole Qur’an. As part of the school’s curriculum, the students are also taught Arabic, Hadith, Fiqh and other aspects of Islamic theology.
The whole Qur’an memorization course is a three-year programme at the end of which the students would have also memorized at least 300 Ahadith. To prepare them for further conventional education after the Qur’an memorization course, the students are also taught English Language, Mathematics and Basic Science throughout the duration of the course.
